Mathias Svold (b. 1991) is a Danish photojournalist and staff photographer for Berlingske. His work often focuses on long-term projects, exploring themes of nature and the environment.

He graduated in 2017 from the Danish School of Media and Journalism with a degree in photojournalism. He has interned at National Geographic Magazine and Jyllands-Posten and was a mentee in the VII Photo Agency’s two-year program.

In collaboration with Ulrik Hasemann, he published KYSTLAND (2019), a critically acclaimed photobook about Denmark’s coastline, followed by Gennem Øjetræet (2023), a visual exploration of Rold Forest. Both books are available at www.booklab.dk.
