The Wild Within
Denmark is the country in Europe with the least amount of wild nature according to a report published by the European Commission. Almost every spot of Denmark is filled with cities or fields while timber production and mountain bike trails characterize the forests. Beforehand the forest was a place we lived, whereas now it has become a place we exploit and occasionally visit as a tourist.
Have we as modern, controlling humans become so removed from the wild that we have lost something of ourselves?
In the fall of 2016 we went on a journey into the biggest forest in Denmark called Rold Forest to explore the value of the forest and to investigate the industrial and spiritual use of nature of today.
